I'm sitting in English right now. I think we're about to start doing a bunch of work, but I though I'd take a moment to get on here. Today has been pretty busy so far, even though I intentionally skipped my first class. I don't know what the punishment is for not showing up to class this many time, but I hope it's not that bad.
We just took two minutes to move into groups of five so we can peer review each other's papers. I'll put a link up to mine so everyone can read it.

/r/JustCollegeThings
So college has been fun. So much fun that I haven't been blogging about it at all. Since I've been busy with all that fun. Yeah.
Forealtho, I've been having a blast. I tried to do some vlogging towards the beginning of the semester, but it didn't really come together due to my inability to edit video with my shitty Acer laptop.
I have a new laptop now though, so maybe I'll try starting it up again. I ended up spending $1500 on the big fucking MSI Dominator. This thing far outperforms my old desktop, which I've sold to my brother for a modest $500, which my parents say is too much. I don't care though, I now have $500.
I also have a boyfriend now, which isn't a sentence I thought I would ever feel the need to write down. This is all very new territory for me, and I'm still waiting for it to feel less surreal.
Schram Co. is also becoming a very thing. We have a business meeting tonight, since we ended up not having one last night. With any luck, we'll start monetizing this week, which would be nice, since the Schram Co. bank account is still sitting at precisely $0.
So ima try to keep up with the blogging again. I was doing good over the summer, but I having really thought about it all all since I started here at Charlotte. We shalt see :/

Coworkers
So apparently my brother and two of our friends had the brilliant idea to apply for jobs at Harris Teeter. With my recommendation, they got in for an interview almost immediately. I almost resent the fact that the process has been so much easier for them than it was for me. Whatever, I'll be gone by the time they're done with training anyway. Coming back for holidays might be interesting, however.
I've also been playing a lot of Space Engineers. I can't remember if I've mentioned this in a previous post, nor do I care. Let it stand that I'm still hooked, and probably will be for a very long time.

Spaaaaace!
I've started playing Space Engineers as of a couple of days ago. The amount of time I've sunk into that game already is unreal. Jake and Brian both have it, and working together to do giant space stuff is actually really amazing. It also gives me a reason to use my Mumble server, which I've just paid for again.
Also, more work. I'm almost glad that I'll be leaving it for awhile, even if it means my income is going to hit 0.

New Old iPad
The last couple have days have been boring indeed. Dan sold me his ipad for like $90, so I've spent quite a bit of time playing games and browsing reddit on it. I'm actually really glad I made that purchase.
Also new is the backpack I got today, which is the sling style that I was looking for. I'm not sure if it's going to be able to hold whatever new laptop that I get, but since I didn't get it online, it should be fairly easy to return if it turns out I need a new one.

Shortest Yet
Another new guy started his first day on a register again today at Harris Teeter. Trying to teach these people is always an interesting experience. It was actually the most interesting thing that I've done today, which is why this post is only three sentences long.

Bag is love, bag is life
I finally got to do some bagger stuff at work today. It was a lot of exercise, but I'm glad for the opportunity to not have to interact with customers. I have the impression that this will be happening a lot more for the rest of the summer, as a lot of my shifts are pretty late at night. I suppose we'll see soon enough.

Stealin' yo trash
My party the other day was pretty rockin. A lot of the networking didn't fall through, but we still made it work. All that preparation, and one of the routers ended up blowing out. I need to get a switch before the huge party I plan on having.
Dan also got back today. Since I missed the deadline for taking out their trash, I intended to take it all somewhere to get rid of it before they got back, with the hopes of them never finding out. As I was about to leave their house with all of it, they arrived home. That was fun to try to explain. I ended up taking it all to the dumpsters at the church. I was in such a rush that I didn't even bother to throw any of the recycling in the recycling one, I just heaved it all together in the regular trash disposal thing. I doubt they ever care anyway.
I also just got back from seeing Tammy. As if I needed to spend even more money.

The preparation begins, and ends
My birthday is tomorrow. In a matter of two days, I've managed to line up a LAN party in par with last years. I've only just finished with the table setup and network management. I may need to have someone bring an additional router. I'll contact Austin in a minute.
I have an appointment in the morning to go update my drivers license, as my current one expires after my birthday. It's at an unfortunately early time in the morning, but I should be okay, as long as we can get some coffee before we go.
I also need to find some time to get some fireworks. I might stop by the tent at Harris Teeter when I go to pick up Brian and Akhil.

Pie = (Meat || Fish);
Work was interesting today. As soon as I walked in, I was informed that we had some crazy special going on for just half an hour wherein if anyone purchased any meat or fish, they got one of our Independence day pies for free. I only had two people in the entire half an hour that is was going on buy any form of meat or fish, and one of them declined the pie. I can understand why one might personally might not want to eat a pie, but c'mon. Give it to a friend or someone.
It also seems like I'm gaming a lot with Brian and Jake nowadays. I'm glad to have a group that I can jump into a multiplayer game with. It relieves the monotony of all these single player games I have stacked up in my Steam Library.

Pies4Days
Harris Teeter is selling pies for some Fourth of July special. I have sold literally dozens of $1.50 8 inch pies to people. The number of pies that I've had to deal with in the last couple of days is ridiculous.
I also played Ravaged - Zombie Apocalypse for the first time today. It's one of the many games that I installed after purchasing a Humble Bundle but never got around to playing. It feels like a weird cross between Dayz and Left 4 Dead. I'm hoping to get some of the other guys into a multiplayer match sometime soon.

Transformers :/
Saw another movie today. It was my unfortunate pleasure to go see the new Transformers, on the day of its release. I'm very glad that I walked in with low expectation, because even though every element of the plot was horribly bad, I really liked how they handled a lot of the action. Also of note is the plethora of characters that existed for no reason other than comedic relief. I don't really know what to think about that as far as overall movie quality goes, but I'm glad they had something in there to make it funny.
Also, had work today. It was boring, blah blah, I've said it all before. I'm off tomorrow however, which is awesome, because I'm not getting to bed until pretty late.

Daily Drawl
More work. More Steam Summer sales. I tried to get a hold of Dan and Cary to go do something today, but it's kind of hard when you get off of work at nine in the evening.
I did manage to set a new personal record for the latest time woken up this summer, which is now at 12:45. I doubt that that's the last time this will happen this summer.

Done with the show, on to the game
Just got done with episode two of season two of the Walking Dead Game. It's been quite some time since I've been this invested in the campaign of a video game. I believe last time it was with Mirror's Edge, which, by the way, I cannot wait for the next installment of.
Other than that, I haven't done shit today. I had work, but as always, that's irrelevant.

June Lootcrate is here!
Before I begin, I just want to acknowledge my absence for the last few days. Between Charlotte Orientation, sleeping over at Arjun's house, and general laziness, I haven't been as dedicated to this late night routine as I should have been. I can't pinpoint why it's important that I keep this self record of my daily activities, but fuck it, why not?
Dan and I just got back from watching 22 Jump Street. Of all the things that I did in my free time during the school year, seeing movies with Dan is among the few that I'm still actively doing. I know that I'm burning a lot of money going so often, but holy shit is it fun.
What I'm actually really excited about right now is my Lootcrate, which apparently came in the mail today. I don't know when it was, because I haven't been gone for that long. I'm just happy it's here. I've broken the seal, but I've yet to unbox it. Here goes nothing.

UNCC SOAR
I've just arrived back and set up my computer after SOAR. It was a fun experience, and I'm glad they have a program like this for new students. Some of it was boring, but I met some cool people that are going to be on a path similar to mine.
Technically, since I am undeclared, I'm in what's called the University College. As far as I am aware, everyone else in that group of people that were at my SOAR session were in UCOL because they are undecided. I may have been the only person that knows precisely what I want to do, but wasn't allowed to jump into my major immediately. I doesn't really matter anyway, since I was allowed to go and register for classes with the rest of the CCI students. Not only that, but I registered for classes a level above everyone because of my AP credits. Yay for superiority!

Lifeguards are cool
I'm at the party right now. It's eleven o'clock, so according to city ordinance, we can't play any more music. That's kind of shame, considering there's a bunch of music I still wanted to play. Ah well, I've got a ton of clean up to do anyway.
I still haven't had much to eat. I believe they've got a ton of deserts going on right now. I'll have to walk over and check it out.
With any luck, cleaning up this crap should only take like ten minutes. I kind of want to enjoy the party. Up until now, I've just been chillin in the back with the lifeguards.

How do I DJ?
So apparently Sydney's party is tomorrow. I just spent almost an hour constructing the playlist from her poorly formatted Word document. I'm gonna bring some gear, but I have doubts about their audio setup. If I can't convert my output to whatever interface they're using, we're kind of screwed.
My Minecraft server is running Attack of the B-Team now. It's one of my favorite modpacks, and despite Cary's protest, I think I'm going to stick with it. No one else has joined the server since I've switched over. More people had better start using it, because I'm due to pay for it again pretty soon.
Orientation is approaching incredibly quickly. I still haven't contacted Akhil yet, because apparently he lapses into a coma every time he's about to respond to one of my messages. I'll try one more time tonight, but I've got to get to bed. I need to wake up early enough to call out sick to work.

Finished it already
I finished shotgunning the Walking Dead today. I must say, I really enjoyed the fourth season. When they showed Tyrese with Judith, I physically gasped at my desk. Emoting is not something I usually do while at a computer, but I was overwhelmed. I'm excited to see how they pick up the next season.
I didn't have work today, which is why I had so much time to finish the season. I've yet to talk to Sydney about her upcoming party, but that's not really time critical anyway. I may try and call her tomorrow, who knows.
Cary just logged into Steam. I may go bother him about Harris Teeter for a minute before I go to bed.

Goddammit Cary
Cary needs to get his butt into Harris Teeter to get an interview.
I've spoken with Julie, and apparently he green-lighted through all the pre-assessment stuff, and just needs to go talk to someone. Despite the fact that I've called him three times, Julie's called him twice, and I've spoken with his mother about getting him in there, he has yet to show up. I'm about to go check Steam to see if he's there.
Anyway, nothing of note happened today, but I'm still powering through Walking Dead. I've just started Season 4 Episode 6. Hopefully I can finish the season before someone spoils the whole thing for me.

The Dalking Wead
Urgh, work. I really wish I could find some way to make money that doesn't involve standing in one spot and talking to people all day. Having money is cool, but I dislike how much time I spend there.
I've got to give Schram Co. some purpose so it can start picking up some momentum. I don't even care if it's profitable, I just want to get the name out there. Maybe I can find a use for my sign.
Other than work, I didn't really do anything today. It strikes me I did start rewatching The Walking Dead, which seems like a small thing, but is probably going to consume a huge amount of time. Ah, well, it's a good show.

I like movies.
The remainder of my family that were in town left today, but not before we went to the Cheesecake factory for lunch. I'd never been there before, and I must say it was some of the best food that I've had in awhile. To be fair, the places I usually go for lunch cost less than half of what today's did, so I can't expect much from them.
After lunch, we went to go check out Crabtree Mall. I've been there loads of times, but I always manage to find some new useless item to buy. Matthew and I broke off from everyone else to visit Gamestop. He got Modern Warfare 3, I got a tshirt, and I somehow ended up paying for both. I'm the only one between us with any money however, so I guess it's okay.
He was playing it when I got home after work. After seeing a movie, that is, because Dan showed up in my line halfway through saying that he wanted to go see Edge of Tomorrow. I was prepared to go see that very movie yesterday evening, so the prospect of seeing it today was amazing. I didn't realize how long it was going to be, so we were confused when we walked out of the theater and all the ticket booths were closed. Alas, it was 11:30: well past when I'm supposed to be allowed to drive. I get my full license next month anyway, so it's cool.

How do you spell this?
Baccalaureate was today. It was fun and everything, but I wasn't really feeling it after standing in one place at work for six hours. I still have that blister on my left foot from yesterday, and it is not doing any better. I'll try and stay off of it tomorrow until I have to work again.
IIRC, the remainder of my family leaves tomorrow. I believe we're going out for lunch before they leave. I hope I can convince them to go to Golden Corral; I don't go there enough.
Anna and I went to Dan's house after Baccalaureate. We expected to make it in time for his party, but we were just too late. It was fun anyway, even though we didn't really do much. Anna might actually still be there, which Dan was not happy about. I probably shouldn't have left him there with her, but he'll get over it. I taught him the rape honk, so he's prepared for just about anything that could happen.
I still need to figure out what's going on this week with Arjun, Matthew, and the beach. I'll add it too the to-do list, but I doubt I'll remember to inquire about it until the day of.
I also need to get in contact with Adam, my new roommate at Charlotte. From what I gather, he most likely shares very few interests with myself, but we'll see. Maybe that will be a good thing, I dunno.

Post Party
Party is over. We spent the last few hours watching Bo Burnham and John Mulaney, so I'm not sure when it actually ended. There might actually still be people outside. I intend to go to bed soon, as I have work rather early tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'm not late again. :/
Party Hard
My graduation party is happening right now. Almost everyone is either outside or on the back porch, so I thought I'd take a minute to make a post. Today has been fun, but I'm just about ready to settle down.
Dan showed up partway through the party and said he was going to Jose's grad party. I had already greeted and received gifts from everyone at mine, so I though 'fuck it, why not.' We didn't stay long, but it was fun playing pool and eating some interesting fried plantains.
I'm considering going to a movie tonight, if I can find one that's on. I'm not sure how long everyone here plans on staying, but I'm sure they can manage without me. As long as my mini-fridge stays full, they'll be okay.

Graduated!
High School is over! AWWWWWW YEAAAAAAAAH!!!
Over 9000 percent done with this school.
It's been tons of fun, but I'm kind of glad it's over. I don't think I can handle high school classes getting any harder.
I don't know what the plan for this summer is, but I can figure that out once I power through the rest of this week. I've still got a few more graduation related events to attend before I truly leave it all behind.
Of note: I just ordered my tickets for Animazement 2015 today. As per usual, I'm going to wait until the absolute last minute before I even consider doing any method of planning for it. Hopefully it will go as well as this year.
There's another convention that Brian wants me to go to this summer, but I suspect it's just an excuse to dress up as Payday 2 characters. Whatever, as long as I don't have to spend as much money as I did this year, I'm down. I may want to look into when it is, how I'm getting there, and what needs to be completed for the cosplay, but like I said before, the best time is last minute.
My grad party is tomorrow, but unfortunately, I've got to go to work right before it. Since work is at 8am, I'm off to bed.

The Future Starts Now
I am incredibly excited for graduation tomorrow. After four years, the whole thing is finally over. The plan is to see how long I can go without entering the school building. As I write this, it strikes me that I may not be able to avoid revisiting the school when my brother goes through the graduation process, but whatever. We'll work out the detonation plan for that bridge when we come to it.
Anyway, a bunch of extended family is in town to attend my graduation. I don't get to see them very often, so I'm pretty pumped. Despite my excitement, however, today hasn't been particularly interesting, as it was interrupted by my work schedule. I've changed my available hours at Harris Teeter, so the times of day in which I work may increase in entropy, as if it wasn't bad enough already.
I've just noticed two sticky notes that I meant to take care of today. They may or may not be time critical. Ah, well, nothing I can do until tomorrow but try and make it more obvious. I don't know why I have such a hard time remembering things. I imagine this blog won't last long, but it's worth a shot. Someone's got to keep a record of my life, might as well be me.
